• Join us for the ACT study group!

    All students taking the ACT in the coming months are welcome to attend the ACT Study Group on Thursdays during lunch in the Media Center. Juniors who are taking the ACT at school on February 20th are especially encouraged to attend. You will sign-in during each meeting but you are not required to sign-up beforehand. Grab your lunch quickly and come on in!


    If you attend and fully participate in all five sessions, you will be rewarded with a special celebratory lunch.


    We will be covering what to expect on the ACT and how to prepare. Join us!

Mrs. Jordan has over 20 years’ experience as a high school counselor. She holds a BA from Erskine College and Masters in School Counseling from Winthrop University. Mrs. Jordan enjoys working with all Lewisville High School students and encourages them to prepare wisely for life following graduation. She and her husband John have two children, both Lewisville High School graduates.

Ms. Craig has over 15 years’ experience working in the school system. She attended Francis Marion University. Ms. Craig enjoys working with students entering Lewisville High School as freshmen as well as those students who are preparing to exit and move on to college. She has two children who graduated from Lewisville High School and one who graduated from Chester High School.

Ms. Foster is joining Lewisville High School as a part of the Furman University College Advising Corps. College Advising Corps is the largest college access non-profit in the nation and Furman's CAC is the first cohort of advisers in South Carolina. There is a FCAC adviser at each of the seven high schools across Chester and Lancaster counties. Furman University, CAC, J. Marion Sims Foundation and the school districts have partnered together to place the advisers in the community to be an additional resource. Whether it is answering questions about financial aid, assisting with applications or researching options for the next steps after high school, she is here to help parents and students. You can schedule a time to meet with her via email or come by her office located in Guidance. Ms. Foster graduated from Furman University in May 2017 and is originally from Nashville, Tennessee.
